Studio Art Tour of South Central Minnesota
First Weekend in October – Step inside artists’ personal studios and gather a glimpse of inspiring art media. The Studio ARTour is a co-operative venture among a group of artists in the areas around Farmington, Northfield, Nerstrand and Faribault. We open our studios to the public on the first weekend in October and invite you to come out and see where and how we work!
October 6th 4-8pm | October 7th 10am-6pm | October 8th 10am-5pm
The range of work is amazing; weaving to welding, glass to gemstones, clay to carving – and paper in between. Whether you are a long-time collector, or are just looking for something unique, the studio tour is a perfect way to shop for fine art, and best of all the tour is free!
Bridgewater Farm Pumpkin Patch
Sat & Sun Sept. 28-October 27 11am-6pm, Open MEA Break Bridgewater Farm offers a great fall family experience. They have a pick your own pumpkin patch, a giant 6 acre corn maze, yard games, corn box, hay rides and more! They can also accommodate larger groups and field trips.
Dundas Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 21st- Dundas Oktoberfest is on for 2024! Saturday, September 21st 12:00-6:30 in beautiful Downtown Dundas. Join us for music under the big tent, local beer & cider, German-themed food, kids activities & more!

Northfield Rotary Bike Tour
September 7- The Northfield Rotary Club has organized and operated the Bike Tour as a fundraiser since 1995, 100% volunteer run. Net proceeds raised at this event support Rotary’s local and international service projects and furthers the mission of Rotary by funding projects that promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water and sanitation, and strengthen and sustain local economies.

Defeat of Jesse James Days
Weekend After Labor Day – Yearly on the weekend following Labor Day. Re-enactments of the bank raid, a rodeo, old-time tractor pull, midway, parade, arts festival, arts and crafts shows and much more.
Rice County Steam & Gas Engine, Inc. Semi-Annual Show
Labor Day Weekend and Memorial Day Weekend – Swap meet and flea market, tractor pull, consignment auction, displays and exhibits, food vendors, special events and tractor parade. Located on the Dundas Showgrounds just three miles south of Northfield on Highway 3.
Riverwalk Market Fair
Saturdays, May 18–October 26, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – This one-of-a-kind open air market has something for everyone, including the area’s best artwork, fine crafts, food artisans, fresh flowers and produce picked from local farms. Each Saturday offers a different blend of musical entertainment and kids’ activities.
